Activated alumina of the product range upagLUM AA is used to dry gases such as air, CO2, SF6, NH3, CO, H2S, Cl2, HCl or liquids such as gasoline, chlorinated and fluorinated aromatic hydrocarbons.
In the processes, a high thermal and mechanical resistance is required. Frequently an aluminum oxide layer serves as a splash guard. Another important application is the adsorption of flouride from drinking water.
Regeneration gas temperature of 150 – 200°C with the lowest possible partial pressure.
